ANOTHER MAO ADMIRER IN THE WHITE HOUSE

Ron Bloom. Ever heard the name? He is Obama's manufacturing czar. Last year, Bloom gave a speech to some union members in New York. He apparently was giving a speech on the union role in bankruptcy and restructuring of the auto industry. Here's what the guy had to say:

"Generally speaking, we get the joke. We know that the free market is nonsense. We know that the whole point is to game the system ... we know that this is largely about power. That this is an adults only, no limit game. We kind of agree with Mao that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun. And we get it that if you want a friend you should get a dog."

Can you believe this? This character is The Community Organizer's manufacturing czar! Manufacturing is part of the private sector! It is at the core of our free market economy! And this moonbat is saying that the "free market is nonsense?" He believes that the whole point of free enterprise is to "game the system?"

Let's do a little recap here:

  1. Obama writes of his gravitation toward Communist student groups and Marxist professors in college.
  2. Obama appoints an avowed Communist to be his green jobs czar.
  3. Obama's communications director sings the praises of Mao
  4. Now we have Obama's manufacturing Czar citing Mao and calling the free market "nonsense."

What am I missing here?

I don't think I'm missing anything at all. I believe we have a president who feels great animosity toward the free markets and everything-not-government.

I think if the American voters ... and this includes black voters who voted for this menace simply because of skin pigmentation ... need to freaking wake up or this country is royally screwed.

ON THE ROAD TO MARXISM

Did you catch this story from the Russian Newspaper Pravda over the weekend? How about "American Capitalism Gone with a Whimper" for a title? Here's a quote from the article:

"It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people."

Wait a minute! Read that quote again! Here is a columnist in a Russian newspaper talking about America's decent into Marxism, and he doesn't sound all that happy about it. How do you like him calling us "passive" and "hapless?" And then there's that "sheeple" reference.

Rodina, the author, says that the American population was "dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture." Well ... you know that to be true in your heart, but it took this Pravda columnist to spell it out for you.

Fact is, the author isn't fond of Marxism. That means he isn't fold of Barack Obama. He writes "The final collapse (of capitalism) comes with the election of Barack Obama."

Just read the column .. then go outside and drive around town so that people can see your Obama bumper sticker on your car.

I encountered a flight attendant on a regularly scheduled airline this past week who actually uttered these words: "In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure ... we're screwed." The same applies to the election of Barack Obama.

Elections have consequences, folks.

THIS FROM DICK MORRIS:

This little goodie came across today from our friend Dick Morris. Dick is saying what I've been saying for a year .. but better:

The politics of 2009 will be dominated by a continuation and deepening of the global Depression. Under the guise of stimulating the economy, look for Obama to pursue a radical, socialist agenda that will bring America into conformity with the government domination of health care and the economy that prevails in the European Union. When the dust clears, the economy will still be in the tank. The new president's stimulation packages will do little or nothing to abate the depression, but they will transform American life and politics. For his part, Obama will take advantage of his built-in majorities in Congress to pass his agenda, but will suffer rapidly dropping ratings. By the end of the year, he will be as radioactive as Bush is today.

Well, at least Obama comes by this honestly. How many times were you reminded of his affinity for radical left wing groups during his college years? Don't tell me you haven't read "Faith from my Father" wherein Barack Obama detailed his affinity for Marxist professors and student groups.

Obama, bless his heart, is a man who only sees a government solution to almost any problem. He is not programmed to look to the private sector for solutions to any problem past labeling a can of beans. As such, Obama is the ideal president for our times. Generations of our children have been educated (by the government) to also believe that the government is the solution to all significant problems. Now think about it: If you went to a Catholic school you were surely taught that Catholicism was the way to go. A Jewish school? Judaism is the proper path. Government school? Connect the dots. It will take at least a generation - a generation without government schools - to once again bring about an appreciation for freedom and free markets.

Not time to say "I told you so" yet ... but we're going to get there.

DOW DROPS ... AND OBAMA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT?

So now the Dow has dropped below 8000. Yes, I know that a good deal of the blame here goes to the credit crisis brought about by the sub prime mortgage mess. (Blame the Democrats for this one, by the way), but what role does the election of Obama play here? None, you think? Well try to think a little more. In about eight weeks we're going to coronate a new president that is clearly not in love with capitalism. Barack Obama wrote of his flirtations with Marxism during his college years. He gravitated to Marxist professors and hung around student gatherings where Marxist literature was sold. His campaign rhetoric parroted may Marxist maxims. Now you may not like this .. and I'll probably get some of those silly "Obama's been elected, get over it" emails. How many of you remember any pro-capitalism statements from Obama during the campaign? Did you hear him praise the role of business and entrepreneurs in the American economy? If he said it, I sure didn't hear it. So give me just one good reason why a capitalist - an investor, a business owner, or an entrepreneur - should feel positive about the upcoming Obama presidency? This is going to be a presidency for people who love and worship government. If we could sell stock in the federal government I'm sure the analysts would be giving it a strong buy recommendation right now.
