Nancy Pelosi says that any tax on Wall Street transactions would have to be applied internationally, not just within the US because that would drive companies overseas.

Climatologists are puzzled as to why average global temperatures have stopped rising over the last 10 years.

Tax cheat Timothy Geithner is becoming an expert at pulling the "blame Bush" routine.

President Obama has decided that he isn't going to make a decision on sending troops to Afghanistan until after Thanksgiving.

Barack Obama conveniently downplays errors in his stimulus data, saying that it is a "side issue."

Our healthcare reform debate has been given a failing grade by the dean of Harvard Medical School.

So what exactly is Obama doing over there in Asia? Has he been successful?

Here's some of the fallout from the union leader that threatened legal action against the Eagle Scout for 'taking union jobs.'

A Representative wants to declare the day before Thanksgiving a "complaint-free day" in Washington.

Obama's first judicial nominee believes that his decisions as a federal judge can "amend" the U.S. Constitution by adding "footnotes" to it.

How much sway will our diversity czar have on the FCC's plan for government broadband?

What has Obama done to better our government schools? So far, a lot less than the teachers unions would have hoped.

Jamie Dupree enlightened us yesterday about this exchange between ethically-challenged attorney general Eric Holder and South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.

Also, keep checking Jamie's blog for all the details of the on the Senate's new 2,047 page healthcare bill.

During his trip to Asia, Obama said those offended by the legal privileges given to Muhammed by virtue of getting a civilian trial rather than a military tribunal won't find it "offensive at all when he's convicted and when the death penalty is applied to him."

Victor Davis Hanson writes, "there is a growing sense that America is in fact hemorrhaging - as both friends and enemies abroad smell blood in the water."

More than $98 billion in taxpayer dollars spent by government agencies was wasted. What else would you expect from government?

Our own chief federal oversight official for the stimulus program said that he can't certify whether the number of jobs "created or saved" by stimulus funds is accurate.

First we had made up districts in Arizona, now the Obama administration is providing economic stimulus to phantom districts in Texas.

Try this one on for size ... one out of every 10 jobs the White House says were "saved or created" by the economic stimulus plan, came from projects that reported spending no money yet.

The AARP received an $18 million grant in the economic stimulus package for a job training program that has not created any jobs.

A federal judge has ruled that it was the Army Corps of Engineers that failed to properly protect New Orleans from flooding during Hurricane Katrina.

Will the Democrats' attempt to "fix" healthcare end up making our problems worse? Here's how.

Now we get a dose of race and healthcare ... Rev. Jesse Jackson says, "You can't vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man."

It looks like Barack Obama has yet another appointee who happens to have issues with her taxes.

Rather than focusing on the individual mandate and its lack of Constitutionality, the Republicans instead have chosen to focus on abortion.

Remember that one of Obama's first promises upon taking office was to close Gitmo within the year. Well, he has finally admitted that that is not going to happen.

Reason Magazine explains why you can kiss your freedoms goodbye if the Democrats manage to pass their healthcare legislation.

There are 3 trillion reasons to hope that the Senate is not as fiscally reckless as their counterparts in the House when it comes to healthcare legislation.

Since the beginning of the year, unemployment has risen from 7.2% to 10.2%. Here's why. I'll give you a hint: Obama didn't help matters.

Now we come to learn that Major Nidal Malik Hasan signed his e-mails with "Praise Be to Allah."

Democrats say they will pass jobs legislation by Christmas. Quick question ... what are they planning to do to create more jobs?

Less than ten years from now, 40% of Americans will be obese. You wanna know why our healthcare costs are increasing? Just look in the mirror you blubberbutts!

A former soldier in England has been arrested and convicted (and may even go to jail for five years) because he found a gun in his yard and he turned it over to the police. Only government.

Is Obama Planning A $3 Trillion Tax Increase?

We talked about this one yesterday, but it's worthy of a reading assignment. Barack Obama is quite the magician! He managed to create jobs in a district that doesn't even exist!

Uh oh ... Europeans are not happy with the great one, Barack Obama, because he failed to deliver on climate change.

Our Health and Human Services Department is showing "growing concern about racial, ethnic and language disparities in healthcare."

Mike Huckabee says that Obama's redistribution tendencies extend to all sorts of policies, not just taxes or healthcare.

Who knew that it was possible to "unconcede."

The Post Office cut 40,000 jobs and cut costs, but it still managed to lose $3.8 billion last year.

Another eminent domain case. This one from Roanoke, Virginia.

Homeowners associations ... right up there with unions ... and government.

Victor Davis Hanson has transcribed the current message belching from the Obama administration: Get Used to an Exceptional President and an Unexceptional Country.

How much have the taxpayers invested in every GM car sold?

This is what happens when you rush legislation through Congress. Millions of Americans may end up owing money to the IRS because of how the Obama administration set up its payment plan for its Obama stimulus checks.

Slobbering Barney Frank wants to use the interest the government collects from the financial bailout to give loans to unemployed homeowners struggling to pay the mortgage.

So who will be the lucky brave 12 jurors to serve on the trial of Islamic goon Khalid Shaikh Mohammed?

Eric Holder's decision to try KSM in criminal court has essentially cheapened the value of US citizenship.

The more details we learn about Major Nidal Malik Hasan and the days leading up to the shooting in Fort Hood, the more frustrated I become with our failure to stop this Islamic goon.

This editorial comes from Ireland, where even THEY see that America is afraid of being anti-Muslim .. that's why we failed to stop Nidal Malik Hasan.

From the nanny state government in the UK: Health and safety inspectors are to be given unprecedented access to family homes to ensure that parents are protecting their children from household accidents.

Why do unions, particularly the SEIU, want the Democrats to pass their healthcare reform? Because the unions will get more power!

Another Senator insists that the authority to force Americans to purchase health insurance is the "very first enumerated power" in the Constitution.

The United Nations nuclear agency announced that Iran will start up its once-secret nuclear facility in 2011.

Remember all of these reports on jobs created/saved by the Obama stimulus plan? Now the Obama administration has slashed 60,000 jobs from its most recent report due to "unrealistic data."

The Supreme Court won't hear an appeal from a group of Native Americans who think the name of the NFL's Washington Redskins football team is offensive. Good.

Ethically-challenged Attorney General Eric Holder has decided to dial back his plans to reinstate the assault weapons ban.

What does our declining dollar have to do with the current healthcare debate?

Islamic nations want the United Nations to implement international religious defamation (read: Islamic defamation) laws.

The word racism has become such a joke. Somehow, this Walmart incident in Missouri turned into an issue of race.

This may be a simple question, but one worth exploring: Why does Obama keep bowing?

What's the point if you are just going to dress 'em up in burqas?

With every day that passes Obama's ego seems to get larger. He is starting to believe his own press. More and more pundits are seeing this and are commenting. Here's some fun reading from W. McCahill, Jeff Jacoby, Tony Fratto, The Tampa Tribune, Examiner.com. More later!

Here's my latest column in the Atlanta Journal Constitution: Moochers need free-market dose. NOTE: I had a little disagreement with my editor at the AJC over this one. I described the Democrats hell-bent on taking over our health care as "Looters" when I wrote the column. You see, I divide the nation into three classes: The moochers, the looters and the producers. The looters (government) loot from the producers and give to the moochers in return for moocher votes. So ... just substitute the word "looter" for "moocher" and you'll see it the way I wrote it. Editors ... something I'm going to have to get used to. Thank goodness we don't have them in talk radio.

Speaking of moochers .. check out what happened in France when a website arranged a stunt to hand out free cash.

KSM trial in New York: An intelligence bonanza for Al Qaeda.

And just how much did our precious and government-run Medicare program hand out in suspect Medicare claims last year? Read here and find out .. then throw up. It's your money you know.

Hey y'all! Here's an idea! Let's turn Medicare into a wealth redistribution program!

Did Obama really have to bow to the emperor of Japan? Other world leaders haven't felt the need.

Our imperial federal government now wants to run every subway and light-rail system in the country. Just what we need! More government.

Here we go with another major eminent domain case. This one from New York.

This upcoming conference in Copenhagen on climate change has been deemed a complete wash. Those of you who were worried that Obama was going to sign away our sovereignty can rest easy.

This is humorous ... George W. Bush is warning us of too much government.

After quadrupling the deficit thanks to his economic stimulus bill, Barack Obama has now decided that he wants a spending freeze.

The US is headed toward "third-class status as a nation" because of the budget deficit.

South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint has successfully convinced the Obama administration to change its stance on upcoming elections in Honduras.

It's hard to fight a "war on terror" if you can't use the words "Muslim" or "terrorism."

Barack Obama wants Congress to delay its investigation into the Fort Hood shooting.

Could Newt Gingrich be working on a Contract with America round 2?

What information does Barack Obama need in order to make a decision on Afghanistan? He won't tell us.

There are a few people who aren't buying into OwlGore's global warming scam. These people dared to protest a Nobel Peace Prize winner!

For what it's worth, OwlGore has admitted that CO2 is not the main cause of global warming.

Despite the fact that this cap-and-trade scheme is a fraud, countries like Britain are considering annual carbon allowances that would be rationed and you would be penalized if you use too much fuel.

The Dutch government is going to tax drivers based on how many miles they drive.

Government transparency at its finest.

The government is sending millions of dollars in stimulus aid to communities and housing agencies that federal watchdogs have concluded are unable to spend it appropriately.

This 18-year-old thug will never live to attempt another carjacking. DRT.

Nancy Pelosi says that we will get government healthcare as a Christmas present.  Can I just have my lump of coal instead?  At least coal will keep me warm.

Just to remind you how we got into this mess ... here's a bit on ACORN and our housing bubble.

Yet another record breaking fiscal month for our government with an October budget deficit of $176 billion.

The Obama administration wants to use TARP funds to cut the deficit.

I've been telling you this for a while but George Will says it better.  Our level of spending and our debt level are killing the dollar.

The Obama administration has issued the order to weed out any Bush political appointees.

Ooops.  Here's a blast from the past.  Obama on the campaign trail deriding Hillary Clinton for her idea of an individual health insurance mandate.

Did you realize that the House healthcare bill includes a 69% increase in capital gains taxes?  Here's how.

Could the Democrats manage to implement a Fairness Doctrine 2.0?

Now we are learning that officials ordered that documents be shredded in the case of the firing of Inspector General Gerald Walpin.

Major Nidal Hasan proclaimed himself a "soldier of Allah" on private business cards.  What a complete failure on the part of our intelligence community .. all because of political correctness.

There are ten states in this country that are on the verge of economic disaster.  If I'm not mistaken, nine out of the ten states were Obama states.

This should scare you ... No education secretary has ever had so much money for government school improvement with so few conditions from Congress.

The winner in the war on terrorism is ... China?

A caller had her thong in a wad over this story yesterday: Chuck Norris says that Obama Wants 'To Create a One World Order' at Copenhagen Climate Talks.

This is rich ... ACORN has filed a lawsuit against the federal government, trying to restore its federal funds.

More and more scientists are coming forward to prove that CO2 is not responsible for global warming.

Churches around the world are being asked to ring their bells 350 times during the Copenhagen climate change summit as a call to action on global warming.

A DRT story from Flint, Michigan.  I love it!  Keep 'em coming.

Republicans in South Carolina are censuring their own Lindsey Graham for being a RINO.

The latest Gallup polls show that Republicans have now surpassed Democrats as the public's choice in the 2010 congressional elections.

You know the Democrats are desperate when they turn to Bill Clinton for advice on how to pass healthcare legislation.  Maybe they could make him the sex addict czar.

AIG's CEO is frustrated by Obama's pay limits.  Something tells me he isn't going to get a lot of sympathy from the wealth envy crowd.

Despite what the lamestream media tells you, not only are crimes against Muslims down, significantly, since 2001 but there have been about the same number of crimes against Christians and far more crimes against Jews.

Liberals can't compete on the radio and now they are slipping when it comes to book sales.  Who knows .. maybe we will soon have segregated New York Times best-seller lists!  Or a Fairness Doctrine for books!

Now here's a question for you to gnaw on ... Does Obama Think Tea Party Activists Are On The Same Level As Islamic Radicals?

No matter how much the Republicans warn us about this cap-and-trade scheme, the Democrats will push forward with it nonetheless.  The latest is how it would stop any form of economic development requiring federal permits.

Apparently moonbat Alan Grayson's challenger down there in Central Florida is quite a character himself.

Feminists have a new idol, according to Camille Paglia: Princess Nancy Pelosi.

Well this column really puts it out there ... Barack Obama despises America.

Joe Lieberman says he has "no other choice" but to filibuster a health care bill that contains a government-run health insurance option.

How absolutely ridiculous does this sound ... A man claiming to have been Barack Obama's homosexual lover and another claiming to have Obama's Kenyan birth certificate say Laguna Niguel attorney Orly Taitz asked them to lie in federal court.

Anyone who willingly seeks out the presidency must be missing a few screws.

Don't show this one to Belinda.  How dirty is the money that you handle?

A New Jersey judge ruled that a quadriplegic has the right to bear arms even though he can't hold a gun or pull a trigger.

New research suggests U.S. states with wealthier, better educated and more tolerant residents are also happier on average.

From The Wall Street Journal:  America Leaves Itself Behind.

You'll love this  one from Stossel.  "The U.S. House of Presumptuous Meddlers"

EPA lawyers step forward to explain why this cap-and-trade bill is "fatally flawed."  Needless to say, there are a lot of people in Washington who aren't too happy about this.

Yesterday I told you about Rep. Cardoza of California who scored a $500 million medical center in his district as leverage for his vote on Pelosicare.  Here are some more examples of the backroom deals that took place to get this thing passed.

There are two different bills floating around in Washington right now that want to rein in financial institutions.  Here are the differences ...

The city of Las Vegas got a $64.3 million grant to buy houses for low-income families.  Eight months later, not a single person is in a house.

Even a liberal admits that with healthcare reform, Democrats are creating a new entitlement program, which, once established, will be virtually impossible to rescind.

Could we be gearing up for Townhall Part II over healthcare reform as Congress returns home for the Veterans Day recess.

Should the FBI consider the shooting at Fort Hood an act of terrorism?

Of the 200 amendments the Democrats in the House rejected before passing Pelosicare, 11 would have required for Congress to enroll in the government option.

As Jonah Goldberg puts it: Sometimes, an extremist is really an extremist.

In the wake of Wall Street dishing out bonuses, Slobbering Barney explains all of the ways he plans to tax the evil, filthy rich.

Looks like New York is on the same path as California .. toward bankruptcy.

The latest victim of the global warming movement: golf balls.

A federal judge has ruled that South Carolina can't issue license plates showing the image of a cross in front of a stained glass window along with the phrase "I Believe."

Oh you will love this.  The EPA is now accepting grant applications for projects aimed at addressing environmental and public health issues in "communities with environmental justice concerns."

Code Pink .. full of class .. apparently targeted children of military families on Halloween.

Iran's Ahmadinejad says that he is still awaiting "real change" from Barack Obama.  Get in line, buddy.

Chris Dodd is going to unveil his financial regulation bill today.

Dick Morris says that the shooting in Fort Hood was an act of terrorism.

I love this .. thanks to Barack Obama and the Democrats running the show, it's beginning to look like the late 1970s all over again!

The foreign papers say that Obama did not attend the Berlin Wall ceremonies because they were not centered around him.

But Obama DID manage to send a video message to the Berlin wall celebrations.

This whole healthcare debate comes down to one thing: do you trust the government to determine what is best for your life?  The answer should be obvious, folks.

British spies managed to foil a terrorist plot by a suspected al Qaeda operative to blow up the New York subway.

Thank you, Rush.

The White House has indicated that is won't rule out using budget reconciliation rules in order to pass healthcare reform.

Pelosicare will take our country one step closer to bankruptcy.  All of this just so the Democrats can have more control of you, your life and your decisions.

This article pretty much sums is up: government force is at the heart of Obamacare.

Barack Obama campaigned on the idea of bringing America together, and it turns out that his administration has achieved quite the opposite so far.

The Supreme Court turned down last-minute appeals from the DC sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad.  Good riddance.

This story is certainly making the rounds.  An Obama protester who was apparently beaten by union thugs.

As of right now, 58% of Americans believe that a Republican will be our next president.

Do you remember Louisiana Rep. William Jefferson, convicted on federal charges of bribery, fraud, money laundering?  The feds want to lock him up for up to 33 years.

Republicans say that the Democrats are putting their agenda ahead of the country.  Same could be said for the Republicans too.

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele plays the race card.

I guess this is what they mean by free speech in Cuba.

Communist goods are making a comeback.  That won't last long in a free market economy.

Somalia Muslim pirate goons are at it again.  Where is that cruise line that was offering pirate hunting excursions?

We will start off the week with a libertarian warning about the slippery slope of government intervention.

Read this and tell me how thrilled you are that The Community Organizer is our president.  Maybe this will be enough to get you to take that embarrassing Obama bumper sticker off your car.  Why advertise that you're a screw up?

This is a list of the winners and the losers, hand-picked by Princess Nancy herself and outlined in her healthcare bill.

Black protesters in Washington over the weekend believe that "Obama is white power in black face."

Here's a great, short political analysis of what happened in the House over the weekend.

Mark Steyn points to a potentially fatal flaw at the heart of what we have called, since 9/11, the "war on terror."

Have you ever noticed that higher income taxes do not translate into smaller budget deficits?  Seems that many politicians have yet to notice this.

Speaking of the "war on terror," what role does the liberal left play in our efforts to combat Islamic extremism?

George Will expounds on this global warming fraud in the lead up to Copenhagen.

The Senate Homeland Security Committee is going to conduct a congressional investigation of the shootings at Fort Hood.

Did Obama Just Convict the Suspected Fort Hood Shooter?

Residents in a village in New York will be allowed to cast as many as six votes for one trustee candidate, after a judge ruled that the village voting system was unfair to Hispanics.

The G-20 wants to tax banks and other financial institutions to help fund future government emergency aid, but tax cheat Timothy Geithner says that the US won't back that plan.

Taking a look at polling trends, it seems that the Obama administration has managed to return America to "politics as usual" rather than living up to expectation.

In the wake of the shooting at Fort Hood, Barack Obama is trying to diffuse any anti-Muslim backlash.

One Congressman's idea of "transparency" includes installing cameras in every room on Capitol Hill.

Looks like Russia may be changing its tune on sanctions against Iran.

Maybe this is why ... a secret watchdog report believes that Iran may have already tested an advanced nuclear warhead design.

Freddie Mac posted a $5 billion loss and it predicted that it would need more taxpayer support.  BOHICA!

Hugo Chavez is readying his military for war as a deterrent to any US-led attack.

Our debate about healthcare reform has come down to this ...

How many members of Congress do you think are millionaires?

For all we know .. this study was funded by taxpayer dollars.  Barney Frank probably ... nevermind!

Senate Democrats have blocked a Republican attempt to require the next census forms to ask people whether they are a U.S. citizen.

Considering the crowd that showed up in Washington yesterday to oppose a government takeover of our healthcare system, House Minority Leader John Boehner says that a "rebellion" is forming in this country.

For any of the scientists who do not buy into this global warming scam, Barack Obama says "We'll just have to deal with those people."

Spending in Washington right now isn't all thanks to Democrats. Republicans have had their share of earmarks lately.

Giving troubled borrowers yet another way to avoid foreclosure, Fannie Mae said it would allow eligible homeowners to rent their own homes.

How does the government pay to extend unemployment benefits? It extends a federal unemployment tax on employers.

In the aftermath of the government's cash for clunkers program, we learned that people who traded in their pickup trucks traded them in for ... pickup trucks.

Barack Obama is worried about making important decisions like sending more troops to Afghanistan. He apparently is also worried about the happiness of Native Americans.

Looks like Russia is gearing up for round two in a war with Georgia.

I couldn't make up a story like this if I tried: 11-year-old gives birth to baby girl... after going into labor at her wedding.

It's already time for these stories again ... Christmas tree vs. holiday tree.

Pucker up Matt Towery. The next time I see you I'ma gonna kiss you right on the mouth. By the way ... that picture isn't me. It's some other dude.

A list from the Politico: Obama's best, and worst, moves so far.

The AARP is set to endorse Pelosicare.

As of right now, every House Republican is expected to reject Pelosicare when it comes time to vote.

One out of the hundreds of new regulations in Pelosicare is new regulations on snack/vending machines.

Did you know that CBO estimates on Pelosicare assume that the government will collect $167 billion over the next ten years from people who fail to buy insurance?

This is government ... a House panel set up to "bring meaningful change" to earmark reform has done nothing in last year except request more earmarks.

Some pundits believe that these elections this week showed that Democrats have lost the middle class vote, unless they get spending under control.

A bill making its way through Congress says that banks can't give credit cards to people under 21 unless a parent co-signed or the card holder can prove they could pay the loan.

Looks like the voters of Colorado Springs have sent the message: shrink the size of our government.

Barbara Boxer continues to work on her climate change bill in committee .. by herself.

The blog Big Hollywood has uncovered more videos of government school children singing the praises of Barack Obama. They are officially calling it an epidemic.

More fuzzy math on these stimulus jobs that were created/saved by federal stimulus money.

Speaking of fuzzy math ... apparently getting a raise in salary is considered a 'job saved' according to the federal government.

And if THAT'S not enough ... how about federal stimulus money that claimed to create/save 473 teaching jobs in an Illinois district that only employs 290 teachers.

Coming soon to the United States ... the taxpayers in Great Britain pay the rent for one out of every five British homes.

When it comes down to it, CNN did not crack the top 30 cable networks in prime time.

Human rights courts in Europe have ruled that crucifixes hanging in classrooms violate religious and educational freedoms.

Who knew there was such drama over what paintings hang on the walls of the White House?

The skewed priorities of the Obama administration ....

Despite Obama's current approach to foreign policy, he cannot be the community organizer for the world.

Thomas Sowell points out that the Democrat plans for our healthcare system will merely shift the costs, not reduce them.

A judge in the UK has ruled that environmental views are "the same as religious beliefs."

What can the 10th amendment do for you?

This is such a terribly simple concept ... let's only pay for healthcare that works. Here's how government intervention will only exacerbate any deficiencies in our current healthcare system. Not make them better.

Will Democrat healthcare legislation cause the federal deficit to soar? The CATO Institute has your answers.

Cap-and-trade legislation will spur job losses and increase costs for consumers. What is so hard for politicians in Washington to understand? Oh that's right ... because it is all about power.

The Republicans boycott a committee meeting with Barbara Boxer, leaving her all alone.

White House Budget Director Peter Orszag warned Tuesday that large federal deficits will eventually imperil the U.S. economy. Gee, ya think?

Obama should not take even a small step down the road toward bartering away free speech for the sake of international consensus.

After Northwest pilots overshot an airport by 150 miles, lawmakers now want to ban the use of computer laptops and other personal electronic devices in airline cockpits.

The foreign papers want to know if Barack Obama is skinny because he is skipping too many meals to run the country? Don't they know that referring to Barack Obama as skinny is racist?

Hollywood receives help from the government, why no salary caps?

'If The Election Were Held Today Obama Would Lose.'

What exactly has Obama accomplished so far?

Well ... here's your latest cost estimate on the PelosiCare bill from the house. It's $1.2 trillion. This is a small price for the looters when the aim is control over the people. It's a huge price, and likely to double, when the goal of the people is independence and liberty.

While the big battles are being fought in Washington, Democrats are quietly racking up smaller victories that have been on their wish lists for years. The Wall Street Journal has more.

Uh Oh. Now this is just not going to pass muster. It seems that ALL of the active ethics probes being carried on by the Democrat-chaired ethics committee are focused on black lawmakers. Bunch of racists, I way. We need a quota overhaul here.

Do you wonder why Al Gore refuses to debate the global warming nonsense? Could it possibly be because he has a huge financial stake in promoting this fraud?

Here's a hard luck story ... but the Texas Lottery Commission has this one right.

Just what the Republicans need ... a civil war.

Seems that the voters in Iowa are starting to figure out that they were conned by this hopey-changey thingy. It's not just in Iowa.

And if you're still signed-in to Obama's hopey-changey message, for goodness' sake don't read this. You don't want to find out that to The Community Organizer, it's all about money .. money flowing his way.

Jeremiah Wright is back in the news. This time over a video where he praises Marxism. Sounds about right.

Suspended for a half-game? Hell, this thug should be out for the season.

Ford, the only Big Three auto maker not to take a government bailout, recorded a billion dollar profit, thanks largely to restructuring and renegotiating union contracts.

And then we get this news ... Taxpayers are unlikely to recover their full investment in General Motors or Chrysler.

Has anyone read the Copenhagen agreement? What exactly are we about to get ourselves into.

Hillary Clinton is doing a slam-bang job of handling the Middle East peace process. Or not ...

Obama says he wants to get serious about creating jobs. Wait, wasn't that what his economic stimulus package was for?

According to Obama's chief dog washer, Valeria Jarrett, the GOP is becoming more and more extreme and marginalized.

Is this the future of the Republican Party?

A report from the Congressional Research Service shows that the United States has the largest energy reserves on Earth. But because of our government, we can't do a darn thing about it.

What does immigration enforcement have to do with national security? Here's something the Democrats (and some Republicans) don't want you to see.

An analysis found that 3 million registered voters are dead and 12 million are ineligible to vote.

Here in our home base of Georgia, $1.8 billion in stimulus money created/saved 16,000 government school jobs.

The media is warning that despite GOP victories today during elections around the country, the Republicans still have a long way to go for 2010.

The government of Venezuela is having to ration water, and the leftists blame this on ... capitalism??

A massive wind energy project off the coast of Massachusetts could be held up indefinitely because ... it could harm the rituals of a local Indian tribe?

Apparently hell froze over. You can now read a Boortz column in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Here's the first one.

Mark Steyn on the Obama administration's promise to "speak truth to power."

The climate change summit in Copenhagen is just weeks away .. and apparently nothing major is expected to happen because the Obama and the Democrats have failed to pass cap-and-trade legislation in the United States.

What does The Wall Street Journal think of Pelosi's health care bill? How about "The Worst Bill Ever"

Here's a little reminder of why cap-and-trade would be disastrous for our economy.

This jobs "created or saved" nonsense; you're not buying that, are you? Oh, wait. If you would by this "change you can believe in" nonsense you would buy almost anything ... so maybe you should read this.

European leaders want a global fund so that rich nations can contribute and help developing nations fight climate change.

I told you about this one last week .. annual Medicare fraud: $60 Billion; annual profits of top ten insurance companies: $8 billion

The United States has ensured the return of ousted Honduran president Manuel Zelaya. So much for democracy.

Barney Frank's legislation in the House affirms the assumption that too-big-to-fail is not only a reality but a reality that should be acknowledged in law.

Barney Frank also wants financial institutions to pay into a pre-funded trust that would cover the cost of a government takeover, if ever necessary again.

Healthcare reform has become nothing more than a cheesy Washington soap opera starring Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

Obamacare vs. the Hippocratic Oath.

The head of the National Endowment for the Arts is Barack Obama's biggest cheerleader.

George Will explains a current controversy in Washington, where the right to privacy is under assault for resident who sign petitions to trigger reform.

This week will test Obama's political clout, where Obama has endorsed threatened Democrat candidates up for re-election in Virginia, New York and New Jersey.

Is this what President Obama meant when he said this would be the most "transparent administration in history"? Rather than coming up with plausible lies, the administration seems to be fine using the transparent kind.

A simple calculator could figure out that the taxpayers have spent $160,000 per job created/saved by Obama's stimulus plan. But the White House calls this "calculator abuse."

Government should not subsidize health insurance -- for the uninsured, the poor, the elderly or anyone else -- or regulate health insurance markets. Here's why.

Federal banking regulators seized nine more banks.

Rather than trying to read these massive bills coming out of Congress, why don't the politicians sit down and read the Constitution. Seems like some could use a refresher.

One of our favorite brain dead politicians is under full-scale investigation by the House ethics committee.

Taxpayer funded studies on how Congressmen can avoid constituents. Sounds about right.

What happened to Obamamania? Those Obama bumper stickers have been flying off cars since reality set in.

This is what you get when you vote AGAINST a party rather than FOR a party you believe in.

One of the first things you learn in Economics 101 is that there is no such thing as a free lunch. Well when it comes to healthcare, Barack Obama is offering free breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.

Our pay czar says that he doesn't want broader powers over the rest of the financial sector.

Speaking of pay czars, just one year ago, would you have believed that an unelected government official, not even a Cabinet member confirmed by the Senate but simply one of the many "czars" appointed by the President, could arbitrarily cut the pay of executives in private businesses by 50 percent or 90 percent?

You are going to love this .. a list of the top twenty things Obama DOESN'T say.

This story comes from the wonderful world of government healthcare in the UK ... a grandfather was left to die - denied food and water - after doctors wrongly diagnosed him with cancer.

According to this report, parts of the Baucus bill that is being voted on today don't even exist yet! Should be pretty hard to vote for something when you don't even know what it says ... right?

White House communications director Anita Dunn says that Fox News acts as the research and communications arm of the Republican Party.

Hillary Clinton says that she is never going to run for president again.

Barack Obama insisted that his $787 billion economic stimulus plan had to be passed ASAP in order to turn our economy around. There is one thing that that bill definitely didn't do and that is create jobs.

When the Obama administration is criticized for its lack of ability to turn our economy around, the response from White House officials is to blame Bush.

That Alan Grayson of Central Florida just continues to prove that he is missing a few marbles. Did you hear that he believes the Republican Party should be re-named the Selfish Party?

Want to improve your financial condition? Here are the 10 top-paying jobs in America.

And now Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow will explain how the Democrat healthcare plans will not be a tax hike on the middle class. Hint: she fails.

Republicans are just now getting the memo on the relationship between redlining and ACORN. I guess better late than never.

While Barack Obama did manage to be awarded the Nobel Peace prize, even the Norwegian leftists weren't crazy enough to award Obama the Nobel prize for economics.

We can thank the economic stimulus plan for saving ..... jobs for government school teachers!

Global warmers love to tout this line that global warming poses a grave threat to national security! Let's leave it to Lord Monckton to set the record straight.

It's been a while since we have talked auto bailout. What's the latest on all these union concessions we are told were made by the UAW?

The problem with Obama's government option? The public wasn't stupid enough to buy it.

Check out this mother of the year. Are you still a smoker?

Is it possible that Nancy Pelosi could be trying to make the House healthcare bill even more liberal??

Barack Obama's amazing American Apology Tour

Here is the 5th report in Ann Coulter's series on liberal lies about healthcare.

The IRS says it will no longer include ACORN in its volunteer tax assistance program.

The Imperial Federal Government is issuing gag orders against private companies that dare to speak against nationalized health care.

As for ACORN? They're filing suit against the filmmakers who uncovered their slimy underbelly. Once again ... shows we need a "loser pays" legal system.

House Republicans have issued a report providing evidence that AARP will receive tens of millions of dollars in "kickbacks" if Democrat healthcare legislation becomes law.

Well Barack Obama managed to impress one world leader with his speech about climate change: Fidel Castro.

House Minority Leader John Boehner does a bit of fact-checking on Obama's health care talking points.

Someone needs to send Jim Traficant a copy of The FairTax book.

According to this columnist in London, Obama's speech to the United Nations was his most naïve speech to date. Please note that it is never good to received thunderous applause from the UN.

The fact that Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi was able to get up to the UN pulpit and rant and rave should be reason enough to disband the United Nations.

The Democrats rejected an amendment to the healthcare bill that would have required the House to post the final text of major bills online at least 72 hours before voting on them.

The Obama administration is feeling the heat for its proposed Consumer Financial Protection Agency. It's already willing to exempt many businesses including retailers, real estate brokers, lawyers, auto dealers, cable companies and accountants.

Today a congressional committee in the House will be focused on the future of the newspaper industry.

According to Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Paul Simon, 21 million American children lack health insurance. Clearly, they are pandering to the government educated.

Stimulus money that is going towards programs it was not meant to fund? Ya don't say!

The founder of ACORN says that the recent conservative attacks are "complete fabrication" and are meant to undermine President Obama.

The Democrats argue that if we have government-run healthcare, less people will rely on the emergency room for primary care. Too bad that's not the case.

So where are all the young adults who were entrenched in Obamamania back in November? Wonder what they think of their man now. Elections have consequences.

If one thing can be said for Barack Obama as president, it is that he loves to talk about himself.

Did you know that Barack Obama has a safe schools czar? Looks like he's taking the heat from Conservatives.

Would you care to take a pop quiz from a government school teacher on Barack Obama's healthcare speech to a joint session of Congress?

Rasmussen polls show that 59% of Americans believe that the current level of political anger in the country is higher than it was when George W. Bush was president.

How would you like to work for a company that fines its employees based on the amount of emissions they produce? Coming to a government near you!

A climate change expert says that cutting carbon emissions won't do anything to stop climate change. Don't slow us down with the facts.

Now the FDIC could be seeking a bailout from the banks. Man are we in a heap of trouble.

For you eater outers. Ten dirty little restaurant secrets.

Harry Reid has officially threatened the Republicans, telling them that he would be willing to use the procedure of reconciliation in order to pass healthcare reform.

What's this? Congress may reject Obama's proposed mandate that banks offer 'plain vanilla' products because it "would give the government an unprecedented role in the marketplace." Since when did our Congress care about too much government?

A Bank of America in South Carolina is in hot water after an employee reportedly ordered the removal of American flags placed to honor a fallen Marine over fears that people would be offended.

Speaking of South Carolina, check out this mayor who is trying to defend her decision to institute a no police chase policy, because officers could get hurt while in pursuit.

Byron York explains why the Democrats are well on their way to repeating the housing disaster.

Jamie Dupree has done an excellent job highlighting the changes that have been made to the Baucus healthcare bill.

Barney Frank and John Conyers want the Congressional Research Service to investigate ACORN.

Our economic stimulus is really working wonders for our economy, right? Looks like we have Congress to thank ... oh wait, what? Congress didn't write the economic stimulus bill ... some left wing radical organization did? Ya don't say.

Charlie Rangel continues to try and noodle through the issue of illegal aliens and healthcare reform.

Bill Clinton has decided to weigh in on the issue of Barack Obama's race. Luckily he has a few more marbles than Jimmy Carter.

Joe Biden is trying to do his best to ease the minds of health insurance companies, assuring them that their government takeover of healthcare will not be harmful for their businesses.

Looks like all of the evil, right-wing hate mongers made such a stink about this "inappropriate" NEA call that the White House set up new guidelines to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I've been waiting for this headline to emerge: U.N. Climate Summit Leaves Large Carbon Footprint.

Here we go again ... parents accused of child pornography for taking pictures of their small children in the bathtub.

Drought? What drought? Looks like Atlanta got a bit of rain over the past 24 hours.

Here's the Politico roundup of the good, the bad and the pathetic from PrezBO's round of appearances on the Sunday Talk Shows.

How is Obama playing overseas? This article in the London Telegraph says that he is starting to look "out of his depth."

The Wall Street Journal has an excellent piece (even better than what I wrote above) on whether or not Obama's health insurance mandate is a tax increase.

Newsweek Magazine's Raina Kelley explains why we need to play the race card.

More and more Americans are starting to realize that this whole global warming scam is just that ... a scam. There is also much unhappiness on the left that cap-and-tax isn't doing so well. So the green groups are going to set up a "climate war room."

House Minority Leader John Boehner says that the Democrat healthcare bill is dead. Since he's a part of the Republican leadership, he should know "dead" when he sees it.

When it comes to healthcare, the Democrats still can't come to a consensus on what they want, and President Obama hasn't been any help.

Barack Obama says that he will not stop Eric Holder from conducting an investigation into CIA terrorist interrogators. Of course he won't. The radical left would be less than pleased.

The teachers unions are becoming increasingly upset with Barack Obama saying that this is not why they helped to get him elected. They don't like his references to actually trying to get teachers to perform.

Barack Obama is making his first appearance at the UN. Here are some tips on how to avoid dictators.

When a leading global warming proponent admits that the earth has actually been cooling ... the media is silent.

President Obama seems to be open to the idea of a bailout for the newspaper industry. Why not? There's a huge favor to return here.

Jimmy Carter at it again. This time he says that the US may have been involved in a failed coup to overthrow Hugo Chavez in 2002. Our crazy uncle in the attic.

Frank Luntz explains the real reason for America's rage ... and race has nothing to do with it. Go figure.

Barack Obama says that the ACORN issue is not the biggest issue facing our country so he hasn't really focused on it. Well, he sure was focused on ACORN when he sang it's praises during the election.

The New York Times draws the comparison between talk radio and rap. I'm starting to get the idea that the MSM doesn't like talk radio all that much.

When it comes to one-on-one time with the president, House Republicans aren't feeling the love they were once promised.

As terrible as the recent ACORN videos may be, this type of behavior from ACORN is nothing new.

This from the San Francisco Chronicle? Democrats seem to have shifted their thinking on a number of issues since President Obama took the oath of office.

Congressional leaders are discussing whether to stay home an extra week in November because of Veterans' Day. Let 'em stay ... it's not like they are doing much good in Washington.

Today the government is going to propose new rules to treat all Web traffic equally.

Here's an explanation of how non-union, salaried workers shafted in U.S. deal with GM.

The scooter takes center stage in the healthcare debate.

The teenagers who beat up a student on the bus because he was white .... Yep, it's all Rep. Joe Wilson's fault.

The president's website seems to have scrubbed his support for the government option.

And speaking of scrubbing ... you can scrub Obama's plans to make friends in Eastern Europe. Here's the WSJ take on Obama's missile ploy.

The House voted to cut off all taxpayer money for ACORN. Where was the outrage during the election?

The House also voted yesterday to oust the private sector from the student loan business.

Top Democrat lawmakers introduced legislation to eliminate a half-century-old antitrust exemption for health insurance and medical malpractice insurance companies.

Obama is speaking to college students, letting them on a little secret: healthcare is the "defining struggle of this generation." What is really going to be the struggle for current college students? Dealing with our massive debt thanks to government spending.

Next week Ahmadinejad, Castro, Chavez, Gaddafi and other thugs will be coming to the US to speak to the UN General Assembly. However, the new president of Honduras has been banned from entering the US.

According to a recent survey, 87% of businesses would cut employee benefits if the Democrats pass their healthcare bill (assuming that it will increase their costs).

This is exactly what I have been saying for years ... the word "racist" is the most overused and misunderstood word in the English language.

Add yet another racist Obamacare poster to the mix.

Even Nancy Pelosi has come to realize that the 2010 election is going to be tough for Democrats.

And a little Friday fun, but down your beverage and Don't Judge My Hair.

Argentina is considering a bill that would allow more state control over the media. Last year it was retirement accounts. What's next?

Now here's a question for ya .. . Should contraception qualify for climate funds?

The White House addressed Jimmy Carter's remarks directly, saying that the president does not believe his opposition is based on skin color.

Oh ... you just gotta read this National Review editorial about Jimmy Peanut. You'll find words like "banal," and "cynical," and the wonderful phrase "incessant moral preening."

The Baucus plan? The Wall Street Journal says it's just "public option lite"

The White House is also getting involved in Massachusetts politics ... urging constituents to demand that the laws be changed so that the governor can appoint a replacement for Ted Kennedy.

Here's some information that would show you the stimulus plan just didn't work. The ObamaBots will surely tell you otherwise.

If the Democrats get their government healthcare, 45% of doctors say they would consider quitting.

I mentioned this during the Government Outrage portion of the program yesterday ... the Heritage Foundation estimates that Obama's policies would spend $10.3 trillion on welfare programs over the next decade.

The government has officially raised fuel efficiency standards to 35.5 mpg by 2016.

Another government entitlement program that may become permanent?

A union is considered to be "one of the pillars of the ACORN family." Doesn't surprise me one bit.

What is this? An Obama lava lamp?

Oh, you're just going to love this. States with more conservative religious beliefs have higher rates of teen pregnancy. As Fark says, "Oh God, Oh God, Oh God"

Card Check dead? Perhaps not. It may be back, and worse than ever.

Speaking of ACORN .. it says that it is going to reform. Are you buying that?

Here's a little reminder: ACORN was a creation of the Community Reinvestment Act. In other words .. the government.

The White House is really having to strategize as to how to handle the current conservative criticisms.

Where do we stand on our housing situation in this country? I'll tell you one thing ... more government is now in the picture.

The House is considering spending more of your tax dollars on expanding government-led research into how to make cars more fuel-efficient.

Michelle Malkin points out Obama's new euphemism for his "czars" ...

The White House is apparently collecting and storing comments and videos placed on its social-networking.

Here's a short video to get your day started ... how many "requirements" do the Democrats have in their healthcare bill?

From John Fund at The Wall Street Journal: ACORN off the rails. This, of course, is only because of white racists.

Well .. here it is. Audio of Obama calling Kanye West a "jackass."

Arlen Specter has made it official. He will support the union card check bill. What a shocker!

Hugo Chavez in an arms race? This doesn't promise to be good for the US.

The Democrats are coming to find that maybe they can't meet all of President Obama's demands on healthcare reform.

The Obama administration supports extending three key provisions of the Patriot Act that are due to expire at the end of the year.

Thomas Sowell compares being told fairytales as a child to Barack Obama's fables for adults.

According to Rasmussen, one year after the collapse of global financial firm Lehman Brothers, most voters (56%) continue to blame the nation's current economic problems on George Bush. Barney and Charlie skate free again.

Well ... there is definitely one sector of the economy that is growing ... this is good news for liberals who are so in love with government.

If the president really wanted to scare Wall Street to change its evil ways, he would have made one simple declarative statement: There will be no more bailouts.

Americans are really becoming more and more skeptical of mainstream media in this country.

Maybe this is why ... almost a week after the ACORN video broke, ABC News' Charlie Gibson knows nothing about the story.

Another day goes by, and Obama does more pandering to the unions.

The Great One (Mark Levin) has sold over 1 million copies of his book. Not a single review by the New York Times or Washington Post. Another surprise!

Who do you believe are the most corrupt members of Congress? Here is what the watchdog groups have to say. But don't worry, I'm sure that YOUR representative is great ... it is just all the others that are scoundrels.

Studies show that women lawmakers outperform men. Is anybody shocked by this?

The other day I told you who I believed would be the first female to be invited to join Augusta. Looks like she is well on her way.

We are going to have to wait until Wednesday for Max Baucus' Senate Finance Committee to release its healthcare reform bill.

One year after the collapse of Lehman Brothers, the Heritage Foundation explains the current state of financial regulation. Notice that none of their suggestions include more government.

The unions have selected their next target: young workers.

We keep hearing that the Democrat plan will mandate health insurance, just as car insurance is currently mandated. But can we really compare the two?

Obama's my-way-or-the-highway approach to this healthcare debate (by demonizing doctors and insurance companies) may backfire on him.

No wonder Obama is in a big hurry to pass this healthcare legislation ... the more people learn about it, the more they dislike it.

Behind the scenes of the healthcare debate ... intense lobbying from the medical device industry.

Healthcare is a human right, according to the "Universal HTMLCONTROL Forms.HTML:Hidden.1 Declaration of Rights"? Show me where that appears in the Constitution.

Barack Obama didn't make a big deal out of his race when he campaigned, and he still doesn't seem to now that he is president. Why can't others get over it?

A growing number of Republicans are calling for congressional hearings and IRS audits of ACORN.

Meanwhile, ACORN wants another $6 million in government funding.

And one more about ACORN ... it is threatening to sue FoxNews over the latest undercover video footage.

I don't know where the lamestream media came up with this idea that the GOP does not have any ideas on healthcare ...

But maybe there is hope for the lamestream media after all. Some of them finally seem to realize that Barack Obama is going to have to raise taxes in order to pay for his dreams and schemes.

Seven out of 10 Americans lack confidence that the federal government has taken safeguards to prevent another financial industry meltdown.

This ought to keep the turbos busy for a while ... gay marriage supporters are moving to repeal federal laws concerning same-sex benefits.

French President Nicolas Sakozy says that happiness should be used as an economic indicator.

The Obama administration may consider changing the guidelines by which we measure poverty in this country.

Barack Obama has approved plans for the US to start direct talks with both North Korea and Iran.

A good read on another government assault on America's small businesses. Don't you just love government under Democrats?

Obama says that his healthcare plan "won't add one dime to the deficit" ... yet he won't tell us the details on how he plans to do that.

Why hasn't anyone explained to the president how his mandates and requirements on health insurance is going to drive up costs?

Obama is trying to answer the following question: "How can we make sure that civility is interesting?"

The Federal Census Bureau decided to sever ties with ACORN. Plus: Now ACORN may face scrutiny over federal housing grants.

George Will takes on the book banners.

The fundamental problem for Barack Obama and the Democrats is that the public doesn't trust them.

And on that trust issue ... How about a little fact-checking on Obama's statements about health insurance.

The Senate's "gang of six" is working on closing any loopholes in the healthcare bill that would allow illegal immigrants to gain access to government health plans or subsidies.

Rep. Dianne Feinstein believes that it is her job to "[change] the way the country's biggest insurers do business."

After Rep. Joe Wilson's "you lie" outburst last week during Obama's address to Congress, he has racked up $1 million in donations.

Wow, here's a first ... I managed to impress the myrmidons at Media Matters.

Looking ahead to Wednesday ... it will be interesting to see which approach Barack Obama takes to this push for healthcare reform.

Senator Tom Coburn schools a constituent about the painful truth of government-run healthcare.

Beware of the "trigger:" The newest idea from the plunderers to make sure private insurance is run outta town.

Never let a good crisis go to waste ... the media recognizes that Obama needs to create a "sense of crisis" in order to pass his healthcare reform.

How do you feel about 'life settlements' bonds? They are apparently already causing a lot of controversy for Wall Street.

Newsweek Article: "See Baby Discriminate." The article actually makes some significant points ... right up to the place where the authors say "It's horrifying to imagine kids being 'proud to be white.'" And that "..a pride message (to white children) would be abhorrent." Say what?

Barack Obama's plans to encourage saving: allow people to have their federal tax refunds sent as savings bonds.

To get you started this Friday ... talking to an attractive woman really can make a man lose his mind, according to a new study.

It's been a while since we have had a solid column on global warming. From Jonah Goldberg ...

Ed Feulner explains what happened to the Democrats in August. It's easy: YOU happened.

The Congressional Black Caucus is worried that President Obama is going to ditch the government option on healthcare reform.

The "Group of Six" is back at it again today after a two week hiatus in healthcare negotiations.

Here's another Congresswoman you can vote out of office ... Rep. Louise Slaughter says that she isn't going to hold townhall meetings because "she doesn't want to give those people and forum" and it would be beneath the "dignity of her office."

Yesterday I told you about Obama's green czar Van Jones. Turns out that Van Jones is a "truther." Man, Obama sure does know how to pick 'em.

The Democrat healthcare bill will increase Medicare drug coverage premiums by 20%. So much for lowering costs.

There's one government agency that could gain a lot of power if the Democrats get their way with healthcare reform. Any guesses?

For all of the dealer that participated in cash for clunkers but have yet to be paid (they were supposed to be paid within 10 days), the government says you will have your payments by September 30th.

Back in 1991, Bush Sr. made a speech to government school students ... and people weren't too crazy about that idea then either.

Senator James Inhofe says, "I never dreamed I would see an administration try to disavow all the things that have made this country different from all others."

Who is in charge of scrutinizing how the bailout money is being spent? Seems our government officials have the same question.

Stay classy Fortney "Pete" Stark.

What time of day do you think is the peak usage time for Americans to be surfing the Internet?

Now for a list of four problems that could sink America.

How about another list? Here are 21 things that you can't say to Barack Obama while he is on vacation.

John Stossel explains how we have a bunch of economic illiterates running the show in Washington.

Obama and the Perfect Storm. This from Karl Rove

That huge wildfire that's eating SoCal? It could have been prevented with a controlled burn months ago. Environmental nut-jobs stopped it.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer says that he will not vote for healthcare reform if it requires increasing taxes or deficit spending. Well there goes that plan.

We already knew the White House estimates a $9 trillion deficit. What they didn't tell us is that this number was based on brisk economic growth for a solid decade.

The government may "restrict fast food establishments near school grounds and public playgrounds" in order to combat childhood obesity. Because what else are parents for?

Could Barack Obama get another Supreme Court justice to nominate soon? There are rumors that John Paul Stevens is close to retiring.

A new poll shows that a majority of independent voters now disapprove of Barack Obama's handling of the presidency.

It's been six months since Congress passed the economic stimulus plan. The question is ... how's it working out for ya?

Government school parents are upset that this video called "I Pledge" is being shown to their children.

How is a British liquor company benefiting from US taxpayer stimulus money? I'll tell you how ...

NO! HE DIDN'T!!!

Federal grant money for the upcoming census is being awarded to Barack Obama's old pals at the Woods Foundation.

When conservatives top the chats of the New York Times bestsellers lists, don't expect the mainstream media to cover it.

Wow, you people in Tucson really turned out for healthcare townhalls with Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Introducing professional Tweeters.

I'm shocked that this wasn't a woman complaining about a bare-bottomed statue being "inappropriate."

The Justice Department (that would be Eric Holder) has decided that it is going to recharge civil rights enforcement in certain areas of American life like voting, housing, etc.

Oh come on now. Obama wouldn't go this far, would he? Imagine if Bush had tried something like this.

Is the law finally going to catch up with Charlie Rangel? What hasn't this clown gotten away with in the past few decades?

Within the next 60 days, we will have the government pay czar's decision on executive compensation levels for TARP recipients.

Good Doggie!

"What about all those greedy capitalists?" By the way .. I'm not buying into the definition of "greed" in this column. Who gets to decide how much you "need?"

Here's a real shocker ... Barack Obama cannot fund his healthcare reform with a surtax on the top 1% of earners.

Barack Obama has decided that he is going to roll back federal pay raises.

Here are some ideas from Investor's Business Daily on how we can cut healthcare costs without rationing ... by putting patients back in charge of their healthcare.

First on the list ... well, just read this excerpt:

"Barack Obama in August became a Huey for today, a rabble rouser with a better tailor, an unrumpled and modulated tribune of downtrodden Americans, telling them that opponents of his reform plan--which actually does not yet exist--are fearmongers employing scare tactics. He also told Americans to be afraid, very afraid of health-insurance providers because they are dishonest (and will remain so until there is a "public option" to make them "honest"). And to be afraid, very afraid of pediatricians who unnecessarily extract children's tonsils for monetary rather than medical reasons. And to be afraid, very afraid of doctors generally because so many of them are so rapacious that they prefer lopping off limbs of diabetes patients rather than engaging in lifestyle counseling that for "a pittance" could prevent diabetes."

That's from George Will. Read the rest of the column here.

Bill Clinton says that the congress must "reform" health care - that means seize 18 percent of our economy - because it would be good for Democrats.
