• Obama doesn't need to wait until the end of his administration to issue pardons. I think he should start immediately. First on the list would be that inane poet who hogged endless moments of TV time during the inauguration to deliver a ridiculous and painful poem at the inauguration. What drivel. But in the spirit of the new administration we should forgive her.
   
• Nancy Pelosi said that when Bush left Washington it felt like a 10-pound anvil being lifted off her head. So ... that's been the problem all along. That anvil on her head. Explains a lot. By the way, anvils generally weigh well over 100 pounds. Some weigh over to 1000.
   
• Caroline Kennedy has a tax problem. Well, isn't that special. One thing we all know for certain .. since she is a liberal Democrat you can rest assured that whatever Kennedy did to either avoid or evade (if you're government educated, there is a difference) taxes ... it was most certainly an innocent mistake. Right?
   
• Did I hear Brian Kilmeade use the phrase "ass backwards" on Fox this morning? Why yes, I do believe I did. Way to go, Brian? Americans are prudes. Time to shock them out of their pacifiers.
   
• Speaking of Fox & Friends .. .I like these guys. I really do. But this childish vendetta against Soledad O'Brien over at CNN needs to stop. You don't want to get her Irish up.

Yeah, that's what I heard some commentator call her over the weekend ... inarticulate. They played some clips on Fox News of an interview with Princess Caroline and it was just a series of "you knows" and "likes." The commentator (sorry, don't remember her name - I'm on vacation) said that she listened to a 35 minute interview with Caroline and counted no less than 196 "you knows" during the interview. Now this inarticulate woman feels somehow entitled to be a U.S. Senator from New York. This one is going to be fun to talk about when I get back behind a hot mic.
