HOW TO ARGUE WITH A GLOBAL WARMER

The answer is easy ... you don't. And we learn this lesson from none other than the grandfather of the global warming scam himself: OwlGore. He was at an event recently where, for some very unusual reason, he agreed to take questions from reporters. But ... uh oh ... somebody dared to challenge Gore. So what's the logical solution? Turn off the mic! Turn off the mic before Gore starts sputtering and his eyes roll back into his head. What's the matter with you people! You don't challenge the Great and Powerful Gore when it comes to global warming! Don't you realize he won the Nobel Peace Prize? Oh wait ... so did Obama. But never mind! Sometimes the prize actually means something! So pipe down with your questions and criticisms. Save them for anyone who opposes Gore, not for people who support him or the Great Gore himself

Betcha that will be the last time he takes questions. Maybe not for another four years.

What's really going on with Gore?

OK ... think about this. Al Gore was Bill Clinton's dog-washer for eight years. He hardly distinguished as vice president. His tenure started out with him at Mt. Vernon looking at a bust of Thomas Jefferson and asking a tour guide "Who is this guy?" Things went downhill from there. Now Gore has found his place in the world. He got on the phony global warming scam and made it his own. He made a movie and got an Academy Award. The Norwegian Moonbats gave him the prize. Global warming is Al Gore's life. It's his entire reason to exist. Every ounce of power, pride, respect and credibility Gore has is tied up in his endeavors surrounding global warming ... or, as we call it since the Earth started to cool down ... climate change. When someone picks up a microphone and starts to challenge The Great and Powerful Gore on his home turf that person has to be shut down --- or turned off. Gore knows that the whole global warming bit is a fraud, but he cannot turn it loose. To abandon the global warming cause is to erase himself from history. He ain't going there.

IT'S EARTH DAY

Are you as pumped as I am? About Earth Day, that is. This is like Christmas Day to OwlGore. Princess Pelosi wants to make sure that this time next year, America is celebrating the expansion of our imperial federal government. But don't worry ...it will all be in the name of climate change!

Barack Obama and the Democrats are determined to make people more dependent on the government. This is how they retain power. I've been telling you this was on the way for ten years .. and here we are. There really isn't enough bandwidth to cover all of the grand government expansion plans the Democrats have right now. One, of course, is government healthcare. Another is creating a massive government system to regulate climate change. With "global warming" legislation comes the promise of new welfare programs. After all, it is a proven fact that climate change legislation is going to increase the cost of energy in this country. But this isn't a concern to Democrats for two reasons. One .. because ignorant voters will continue to vote for them based on the fact that they brought real change to our government and are trying to prevent the world from a total meltdown! The other is because the Democrats will create entitlement programs to ensure that the poor, poor pitiful poor and the parasite (Democrat) class do not see any energy cost increases.

Pretty clever, huh? But Nancy and her minions are determined to pass climate change legislation this year.

Meanwhile, our government schools are ensuring that we are raising a generation completely brainwashed into believing in this man-made global warming hoax. A new survey shows that one out of every three American children between the ages of six and 11 fear that our planet will not exist when they grow up. Guess who is the most anxious about an Al Gore-scripted apocalypse? Minority children. 75% of black children and 65% of Hispanic children believe that the earth will be "irrevocably damaged" by the time they are adults. Your government at work.

I guess South Carolina's James Clyburn is right ... global warming does seem to affect minorities more than whites.

TODAY'S GUEST

Today on the show we are going to talk to the Lord Monckton. He's from Great Britain, and he is internationally renowned for his critical view of global warming. He publicly challenged OwlGore to an open debate on climate change, and can you guess the response? OwlGore ignored him. Go figure. Because when you are trying to defend something that know cannot be scientifically proven you don't want to get into a debate with someone like Lord Monckton. So we are going to have him on the show today at 10:35 EDT.

What do I call him? Lord? Well, anyway ... the Lord is coming to the Neal Boortz show in the first hours of syndication.

And speaking of global warming. One of our favorite global warming moonbats is at it again. Do you remember James Hansen of NASA's Goddard Institute? He's the one that has been called an embarrassment to NASA for his blind belief in this global warming hoax. Anyway, Hansen has his boxers in a bunch because the democratic process isn't working fast enough to appease his global warmers. He says that corporate lobbying has undermined democratic attempts to curb carbon pollution. Hansen says, "The democratic process is supposed to be one person one vote, but it turns out that money is talking louder than the votes. So, I'm not surprised that people are getting frustrated. I think that peaceful demonstration is not out of order, because we're running out of time."

If you missed our little chat with Lord Monckton, we're going to put it in next week's Boortz Blast newsletter. If you don't already get it, sign up here.

SOME NEWS FOR AL GORE

One of Al Gore's favorite sock puppets is this James Hansen of NASA's Goddard Institute. Well Hansen's former boss, retired senior NASA atmospheric scientist, Dr. John S. Theon, has come forward with some news .. Theon is skeptic of man-made global warming and his former employee James Hansen is an embarrassment to NASA. Yep, Theon says, "I appreciate the opportunity to add my name to those who disagree that global warming is man made." He goes on to say, "Hansen was never muzzled even though he violated NASA's official agency position on climate forecasting (i.e., we did not know enough to forecast climate change or mankind's effect on it). Hansen thus embarrassed NASA by coming out with his claims of global warming in 1988 in his testimony before Congress."

There's more to chew on here, but it is good to know that Al Gore is keeping good company.

You've heard me talk about James Hansen of the Goddard Institute .. this is one of Al Gore's global warming sock puppets. James decided that he wanted to write a personal letter to Barack and Michelle Obama with his suggestions on how we can save the planet from this phony global warming crisis. He outlines three ideas for the Obama's. One of them I can agree with: the need for nuclear power. The other idea is one that Barack Obama has already said he would do .. bankrupt the coal industry. Hansen refers to coal-fired power stations as "factories of death." Isn't that pleasant? But he wants a moratorium and phase out of these "death factories."

But my favorite suggestion is to enact a tax on carbon emissions. But not just any tax .. a tax that would take money from the evil rich and give the proceeds to the less fortunate. Don't ya just love that phrase? Here's the basic gist .. Hansen wants a carbon tax and 100% dividend. Carbon would be taxed at the source -- aka. those people who produce more would pay more .. we are assuming the evil rich are in this category. But then the revenue from this tax would be equally distributed among all tax payers. So the "less fortunate" who don't produce as much carbon would be making money from the exploits of the evil rich. Sounds like wealth redistribution to me!

Here's a little taste of Hansen's letter, but you can read the whole thing here.

The public will support the tax if it is returned to them, equal shares on a per capita basis (half shares for children up to a maximum of two child-shares per family), deposited monthly in bank accounts. No large bureaucracy is needed. A person reducing his carbon footprint more than average makes money. A person with large cars and a big house will pay a tax much higher than the dividend. Not one cent goes to Washington. No lobbyists will be supported. Unlike cap-and-trade, no millionaires would be made at the expense of the public....

A carbon tax is honest, clear and effective. It will increase energy prices, but low and middle income people, especially, will find ways to reduce carbon emissions so as to come out ahead.

Sooner or later ... hopefully sooner ... we're going to put this idea of man-made global warming to rest. In the meantime, enjoy this record-breaking cold winter.

We here at the Boortz Show are attempting to make this a green Thanksgiving by following Al Gore's suggestions on how to limit our carbon footprint this holiday season. If you believe this then you have a serious mental problem.
